If you are replacing an old set, consideration should be made for any change to colour of the teeth, materials or facial support.
Complete dentures usually will require several visits and can take between 2 to 3 weeks to produce. In an emergency we can usually expedite this process.
If you have dentures fitted immediately after the removal of teeth, the gums and bone will alter in shape quickly and the dentures will probably need relining or remaking after 3 to 6 months.
Partial dentures are intended to replace missing teeth by filling in the gaps within your smile. They come in various materials such as plastic, nylon, or metal, with a set of false teeth attached to a plate.
These dentures are typically designed to fit around your existing natural teeth, providing stability and support. Metal clasps are often used to securely hold the partial denture in place within your mouth. They can be easily unclipped and removed for cleaning or as needed.
In some cases, the clips used to secure the partial denture may be made of a tooth or gum coloured material for aesthetic purposes. However, these types of clips may not always be suitable as they can be more prone to breakage compared to metal clasps.
Metal partial dentures are typically crafted from an alloy of cobalt and chromium. They offer numerous advantages over acrylic dentures, primarily due to their superior strength and reduced bulkiness. Chrome dentures can be designed to be much smaller, thinner, and less conspicuous, while still maintaining excellent durability compared to traditional acrylic alternatives.
One notable benefit of chrome dentures is their ability to expose more of the palate, which can improve speech clarity and enhance the ability to taste foods.
While the base of these dentures is composed of chrome, artificial teeth are attached to the metal framework using acrylic. Moreover, natural teeth can provide additional retention for chrome dentures through the use of clasps. Additionally, natural teeth play a crucial role in distributing the load and stress exerted on the denture, contributing to overall greater stability and comfort for the wearer.
Flexible dentures are a modern alternative to traditional rigid dentures, offering increased comfort and aesthetics for dental patients. Made from a flexible thermoplastic material such as nylon or a thermoplastic resin, these dentures are lightweight, durable and biocompatible.
The flexibility of the material allows for a snug and comfortable fit, reducing the risk of irritation or sore spots often associated with conventional dentures. Additionally, flexible dentures provide excellent aesthetics, as they can closely match the natural colour of the gums, giving a more natural appearance.
Their versatility allows them to adapt well to changes in the mouth, making them an ideal choice for patients with irregular jawbone structures or those who have experienced bone resorption.
Overall, flexible dentures offer a comfortable, aesthetic, and functional solution for individuals seeking an alternative to traditional dentures.

After many years of enduring poorly fitting dentures from his local surgery, my father went to see Stephan and is extremely pleased with the result.
Very professional, nothing was too much trouble and finally has comfortable dentures which have made a huge difference to everyday life. Would highly recommend.
Thank you!!!

It was the hottest day (so far) of the year and I was let down by my usual denture clinician who had a family emergency. This left me with my final four teeth extracted the previous day including my front tooth and an important funeral to attend the following morning.
Stephan came to my rescue, he crafted the four additions to my existing denture expertly and fast, I left with a perfectly comfortable denture and I am eternally grateful to him.

I cannot recommend Stephan more highly.
He went above and beyond as I was on a tight schedule, as I no longer live in the UK, and had travelled back especially to see him. I would not trust anybody else to make my cosmetic denture.
So pleased with it.

Wanted to share what a great business this is.
Stephan is amazing - he came in late one day after my mother had to have a tooth removed, so he added one to her plate. Stephan explain she would benefit from a denture that fitted!
Stephan took careful care to ensure this would fit her and then make eating safe, my mother has dementia so is not the easiest person to help.
His patience with her was outstanding, he explained to her she would be ok with the new plate in 48 hours, in fact by the next morning all was well.
Thank you

Stephan’s exceptional attention to detail truly stood out during the process of creating dentures for my mum. The meticulous care he took ensured that the teeth complemented her face structure perfectly, achieving the exact color match she envisioned. The noticeable improvement in quality, especially compared to her previous set from a different provider a decade ago, was nothing short of amazing.
The efficiency in crafting the dentures was equally impressive, and Stephan’s flexibility in scheduling appointments around my mum's availability showcased his dedication to customer satisfaction. The positive impact on my mum's confidence, restoring her ability to smile after years of hesitation, speaks volumes about the expertise and skill invested in this dental work.
Stephan’s clean and welcoming environment further added to the overall positive experience. His extensive knowledge of dental aesthetics and ability to understand and meet the client's desires make him highly recommendable. I/mum appreciate the exceptional service and results, and I wholeheartedly recommend Stephan for anyone seeking top-notch dental care.
Thank you.

Stephan has proved to me what a difference a great fitting denture can make. After a bad experience with another dental service, I was nervous but was put at ease by Stephan's expertise of his work and the fantastic outcome of his service.
I have received the best fitting and most natural looking dentures I've ever had... thanks Stephan!
Do highly recommend his services!

These appliances come in various forms, including mandibular advancement devices (MADs) and tongue retaining devices (TRDs).
MADs work by slightly advancing the lower jaw forward during sleep, which helps keep the airway open and reduces snoring. TRDs, on the other hand, hold the tongue in a forward position to prevent it from obstructing the airway. Both types of devices are custom-fitted to ensure maximum comfort and effectiveness.
Anti-snoring appliances offer a non-invasive and relatively simple solution for individuals suffering from snoring, improving sleep quality for both the snorer and their sleep partner. It's important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to determine the most suitable appliance based on individual needs and preferences.
